Peebles begins converting hotel "suites" into condos

Peebles Atlantic Development Corporation has begun converting an 80-room hotel into 72 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath ultra-luxury condominium villas. The former hotel suites will sell for $1.7 million each.

"We are diversified geographically and by product type," he says. "Real estate is a cyclical business. The cycle runs on both product type and location."

Peebles has said on several occasions that his "vision" for a hotel in the Quarry is 100% "suites".

What happens to traffic on Highway 1 when his "vision" "diversifies" the 355 housing units and 350 hotel "suites" into 705 housing units in the Quarry?

If voters approve the ballot measure in November for 355 housing units and 350 hotel "suites", will we wake up one morning to be stuck behind the traffic from 705 housing units in the Quarry?
